10/07/18

6-foot-1, 185-pound, strong, physical frame, a well proportioned athlete. Shows to have fast twitch actions, overall athletic ability is advanced. A two-way player, off the mound, shows to have a quick arm, baseball comes out of his hand with ease. The delivery, has tempo to it, athletic leg kick, gets loaded up on the backside. The arm action is longer and clean on the backside, works out of a ¾ slot. Slight bounce and hop out of the gather, the lower half direction is inline, minimal pull with front glove. The fastball was clocked at 79 mph, with action to the arm side. The breaking ball was clocked at 66-69 mph, needs to get more fastball hand speed. The change up was clocked at 71-72 mph showed to have feel for the change up. Offensively, balanced approach, higher leg kick, hands stay back, swing is level to up, creates lift and loft to the swing. The bat speed is advanced, clocked at 90 mph. Slight step in with lead leg, gets cut off at times, more in there if lower half direction is inline more. Time down the line was clocked at 5.59. Defensively, gets off the bag well at first, hands are soft, on all picks and glove work. The arm has above average strength, clocked at 78 mph across the diamond. Showed good footwork starting the double play, with accurate quick throws. Time will tell which way he goes, I like the aggressiveness of the mound, with a solid two pitch mix.

Home-First: 4.59
Exit Velocity: 90 MPH
Arm Velocity: 78 MPH

3/05/17

6-foot, 165-pound, average athletic frame, shoulders are rounded, neck  and arms are long, has plenty of room to fill out. A right-handed pitcher, delivery is simple, hands stay high throughout, squares up on release, backside comes through, finishes all pitches off. The backside stays strong, pitches downhill. The arm action is clean, fastball was clocked at 70-73 mph, comes out of his hand ok for his age. The breaking ball was 60 mph, more of a slurve break, and changeup was clocked at 64-65 mph. Defensively, worked out at first, gets off the bag quickly, footwork is solid in starting the double play, especially the drop steps. The arm was clocked at 72 mph across the diamond. Offensively, hits from the right side, the stance is even, slightly wider. The swing path is flat, approach is more middle rolls his hands late. A fast twitch athlete, someone to follow.

Exit Velocity: 81 mph
