This right handed pitcher has a delivery that is free and easy and repeatable. The tempo in the motion is a little slow, has some coil in his leg lift and he steps across his body. The arm action is clean and the ball comes out okay. The fastball sat in the mid-80s and located well to the arm-side. The curveball is 60mph and needs to be thrown harder. He slows down on it and guides it in there. He showed plus feel for the change up at 68-69. At the plate, shows a balanced approach, hands are set just above the shoulders, the path is good to the ball, could stay on it a little bit longer. He had really good swings during the game. The tee exit velocity was 82 and he ran a 4.72 down the line. At shortstop, showed soft hands with a good gather and kept his feet moving towards his target. The arm across the diamond was 74. The frame is large and long, the arm really works, needs to get stronger and speed things up. Definite follow for me.
The frame is big, long and has room to fill out and add some strength to it. The motion is simple, leg raise has a bit of some coil in it, hands are set chin high. The direction needs to get cleaned up, steps across his body a bit. The arm works, its free and easy, the ball comes out ok. Shows proper spin to the curveball, slows body down at times. At the dish hands are set high, with a good path to ball. The barrel is flat through the zone, is in and out quick though, needs more of a finish. The body and arm work, will interesting to see him progress.
