6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and left-handed pitcher. Positionally, he threw 79 mph during the outfield portion of the workout. The approach is online and moves athletically through the baseball. The bat has an exit velocity of 83 mph. The setup is wide in base and the front foot gains ground to the ball as the swing is produced. The path is slightly uphill and clean to contact. On the mound, I thought he threw the ball very well. The fastball sat 79-81 mph with arm side run to it. The spin pitch was 68-69 and small in shape. The changeup was 72-73 mph and solid in form. The delivery is online and the slot is above 3/4in height. The lift is repeated, the direction is solid and he throws 3 pitches for strikes. He showed well, cruising through his innings.
