Cole Silvia: SS/2B, (2024) Canterbury, CT. Pepperdine Commit, 6-foot, 185-pound athletic projectable build. Projectable during batting practice, Silvia had a max exit velocity of 97 mph. (74.8 mph bat speed average). (22.1 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a low handsy load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, showed an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Through his round he found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Above average and projectable showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 90 mph; has athletic quick feet, a twitchy clean exchange, and soft twitchy hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a very quick loose arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.87 60-yard dash.

Had an uphill loose swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Above average and athletic in the infield, his best throw was registered at 80 mph; has athletic consistent feet, a clean natural exchange, and twitchy soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. Established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.59.  (Max spin ; Avg ).  He is a high profile player for me, shows well across the board and super athletic.
