Positional Profile: RHP

Body: 5-foot-8, 130-pound, wiry strong, lots of room for added weight gains.

Delivery: The delivery is smooth and simple, showing an athletic kick, inline direction is square to the plate. Pounds the zone with a 3-pitch mix.

Arm Action: Short and clean, working from a ¾ slot. Will need to add arm strength. 

FB: The fastball was clocked at 76 mph, located to both sides of the plate. 

CB: Showed tight spin, up to 68 mph, with tilt and depth to it. 

CH: Fade action at 68 mph, should be able to develop this pitch. 

Hit: A RHH, level path through the zone, line drives staying in the middle part of the field. 

ATH: Ran a 4.59 down the line from home to 1st, and was athletic off the mound.

Colton Merola: SS/C, (2025) Haddam-Killingworth, CT. 5-foot-8, 145-pound. (58.0 mph bat speed average). (16.7 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Bat speed is developing, uses a simple flat swing plane and high finish. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 70 mph. Behind the plate, throw downs to second topped out at 66 mph; shows choppy feet, consistent hands, and a natural transfer. recorded pop times of 2.06-2.28. Some flexibility and quiet setup. Showed a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action.  (Max spin ; Avg ).
