5-foot-10, 180-pound, average athletic frame, showing some fast twitch to him. The shoulders are squared off, with room for added weight. A two-way player showed well on both sides of the field, projecting more as a position player at the next level. Off the mound, works from the right side, working from the set position, delivery is quick, gets loaded up and lands inline to the plate, accelerating down the mound. The arm action is longer and clean on the backside, working from a high 3/4 slot, creates a good amount of natural bore action to his ball. Hiding the baseball, gets on the hitter, fastball reached 85 mph. Throwing a harder slider at 75 mph, more of a swing and miss offering. I love him off the mound. At the plate, simple approach, loose hands at the shoulders, even feet, minimal stride, level path through the zone more of a line drive approach to the middle part of the field. Exit velocity of 88 mph, had a good swing in game play. Defensively at shortstop, approach is under control, fielding out front with a soft glove. The arm has strength across the diamond, clocked at 79 mph. Big follow off the mound, can get college hitters out.
