9/01/20

Position: SS/3B; infield profile, sneaky athletic could play multiple positions in the infield.

Body: Strong 6-2, 205lb frame with substantial projection remaining. Functional movements for a kid his size. Plenty of physical upside as he continues to develop.

Hit: Balanced stance, looks comfortable in the box. Smooth tempo with a medium knee to knee leg kick. Barrel turns at the top slightly as the hands push back. Foot lands softly, quiet head. Quick hands, flat path. Natural ability to stay in side the ball and release through contact.

Power: 99 mph EV. Natural loft in the bat path at finish. Gap to Gap approach with plenty of juice to carry the gaps.

Defense: Smooth, soft hands. Funnels the ball in cleanly to the belt, uses a short packing timing mechanism to gather and get the throws out. Hands showed natural quickness and clean exchanges. Maintained footwork and momentum during the fielding process.

Arm: 83 mph INF velo. Strong arm, isn't afraid to show it off. Showed the ability to adjust his arm slot and deliver accurate throws when moved laterally. Also able to pick up the tempo and quicken the release when necessary.

Speed: 7.38 sixty. 4.59 5-10-5 shuttle time. Sneaky athletic.

Summary: Athletic large frame with tons of upside. Smooth actions across the board. Never seems to get out of control. Fluid actions in the infield will play at the next level. Plenty of juice in the bat to translate. Good make-up, high academic.

8/12/20

6-foot-2, 205-pound right-handed hitting infielder and pitcher. He showed extremely well at the event. He ran a 7.38 sixty and the movements throughout are athletic. The approach in the infield is on point and he moves through the fielding of the ball. He threw 83 mph across the diamond during the infield portion of the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 99 mph. The hands are strong and he stays through the ball at contact. The setup is even in base and the front foot gains ground as the swing is produced. The path is flat and strong. On the mound, the fastball sat 83-84 mph with arm side action to it. The slider is a good pitch, sitting 74-76 mph. He showed a cutter, looks like a slider, at 78-79 mph. The changeup was 71-72 mph and thrown with good hand speed. The delivery has crossfire to the feet and the slot is slightly above 3/4. The lift is athletic and repeated. The tempo is good and he threw strikes.

Exit Velocity- 99 mph

INF Velocity- 83 mph
