5-foot-7, 140-pound athletic slim frame. Above average during batting practice, Armas clocked an exit velocity of 78 mph. (58.39 mph bat speed average). (19.50 mph hand speed average). Started in a crouched wide stance with a compact small load, then used a controlled small leg kick. Bat speed is average, has a long level swing plane and a front foot finish.Found some barrels with loud contacts. Line drive base hit approach. While catching, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 61 mph; had a clean natural transfer, soft consistent hands, and average footwork. had consistent pop times of 2.46-2.65.Some flexibility and wide quiet setup. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a short loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event,clocked a 60 time of 7.45.

5-foot, 85-pound, small, young, thin athletic frame. The shoulders are squared, strength is a must, he is young and has plenty of time to add weight. A right-handed hitting catcher, at the plate, for timing uses a small controlled leg kick. The hands stay back, swing path is level through the zone, finishes the swing with two hands at shoulders. The lower half is good but, can be more balanced at the finish, his back foot slightly moves. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 58 mph, and ran a 4.77 30 yard-dash. The timing was good, made solid contact, good hand to eye ability. Defensively, had a pop time of 3-3.60, arm strength needs to improve, arm was clocked at 50 mph from the chute, works from a lower slot. The arm needs to work from a higher slot, should help with additional carry and flight to the baseball. The hands are soft on the catch. During infield play, hands are soft, needs to length stride, arm was clocked at 52 mph, from a lower slot. Strength is a must, getting arm slightly higher, with a longer stride should help the arm be on time with more velocity.
