Evan Mastrobattisto: SS/2B, (2022) out of Daniel Hand, CT. is a lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 165-pound infield prospect. At the plate, Mastrobattisto recorded an exit velocity of 83 MPH, with a (63.07 mph bat speed average) and (19.69 mph hand speed average). He started in a balanced, wide stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. A small load initiates a swing that takes an uphill path through a high finish. In his round, there was some loud contact and showed a gap to gap approach. In the infield, his best throw was 78 MPH, while showing he had athletic footwork, soft, sure hands, and a clean exchange. He fields the ball out front, using a loose, high ¾ slot to get the ball across the infield. Mastrobattiso also recorded a 60 time of 7.4 at the event.

5-foot-10, 165-pound athletic solid build. Solid confident at the plate,Mastrobattisto recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph. (67.10 mph bat speed average). (19.65 mph hand speed average). Started in a wide quiet stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a short controlled stride. Bat speed was above average, displayed a short simple swing plane and level good extension on his finish. He barreled up lots of balls with tons of loud contact. Up the middle line drive approach. Advanced in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 76 mph; had a twitchy clean exchange, next level soft hands, and quick in control footwork. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a short long arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.05. A high-end defender, can really pick it, from both sides of the bag.

5-foot9, 160-pound left-handed hitting infielder. He ran a 7.5 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is athletic and the feet remained active throughout the process. He threw 78 mph across the infield during the defensive portion of the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 84 mph as the frame needs to get strength. The setup is even in base and he uses a small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is short and simple to contact, good swing. I thought he swung the bat well in batting practice and in game. He is a solid prospect.

5-foot-9, 160-pound, average athletic frame, showing twitchy actions, with room for added weight. A left-handed hitting middle infielder, who can really defend. The prep steps and approach to the baseball are advanced, gets around the baseball and builds momentum towards target. The hands are soft and can really pick it, works and fields out front, feet move throughout, work with hands with easy effort. The arm action is super smooth, working from a 3/4 slot. The arm was clocked at 76 mph, all throws on a line with carry, has enough to stick on left side, may project out better for second long term. Can spin it evenly around the bag. At the plate, simple set up, balanced feet, easy pick up an put down. The path is down to level, stays in the middle of the field, has an above average approach. The exit velocity was in the 80's, ran a 7.50. Projection to this one, will defend at a very high level, will be able to handle the bat at the next level.

5-foot-8, 155-pound, smaller, strong, athletic frame. Solid, put together well for his size. A left-handed hitting middle infielder, solid actions on either side of the back, starts and turns were performed correct. Simple approach at the plate, balanced, feet are even, at shoulder width, hands are loose and relaxed at the shoulders. The bat starts in more of a flat position, simple load, with a quiet pick up and put down with the stride foot. The swing is short and crisp, a down to level path, line drive approach, sprays the 6 hole and shows ability of driving it to pull gap. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 80 mph, and ran a 7.46 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, threw 73 mph across the diamond, arm action is short and clean, working from a natural 3/4 slot. The hands are soft on the catch, working low to the ground, out front, smooth turns and feeds from both sides, looked to be super athletic on the slow roller pro move. Solid follow will need to continue to add strength.
