5-foot-10, 165-pound, strong, super athletic. A well proportioned athlete, hands and legs have quickness and strength to them. A right-handed hitter, stance is balanced throughout, slightly open with front foot, hands held above shoulders are loose and relaxed. The lower half is under control, transfers the weight from backside to front, with more of a gliding action. The swing is level to up, keeps the hands inside the baseball, looks to drive the baseball to all fields, shows the ability to hit the baseball to opposite field with ease. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 87 mph, with more in the tank. During game play, was extremely successful, collecting multiple hits, spraying baseball to all fields, clocked at 4.37 from home to first. Defensively, arm was clocked at 79 mph, arm is clean on the backside, works out of a high ¾ slot, plenty of carry and flight. Routes and angles are correct and clean, needs to quicken up the transfer, too many steps at times. Ran the sixty yard dash at 7.26, covers ground well in outfield. Off the mound, this right-hander has a smooth controlled delivery. The hands start high, work down with rocker step and then work back up with leg raise, which has some coil to it in the gather position. The arm action is longer on the backside, path is down to up, it’s clean and works with ease, comes out of a ¾ slot. The finish is out front, gets squared up on release of the baseball. The fastball touched 79 mph, was thrown for strikes with action to arm side. The breaking ball has depth to it, reached 67 mph, with an 11/5 break to it. Showed one changeup in warmups at 73 mph. Projects for me as an outfielder, with ability to help off the mound for sure.
