8/23/18

5-foot-7, 160-pound, strong, solid athletic frame. The shoulders are rounded, hands and wrists have good strength to them. Showed extremely well on the day, made hard contact, was on base day long. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, better suited for second base long term. At the plate, feet are even and slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are super loose and relaxed at the shoulders, bat starts in more of a flat position. The lower half is under control, uses a small controlled leg kick. The swing is very short to contact, keeping the hands inside the baseball, looks to shoot ball from gap to gap with hard contact. Collected multiple hits on the day, creating tons of traffic on the bases. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 82 mph and ran a 7.50 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, works low to the ground, comes through the baseball, feet move throughout, transfer is clean and quick, no hesitation, gets rid of the baseball. The arm works out of a natural ¾ slot, arm was clocked at 77 mph, enough arm to stick on the left side. The turns and feeds from both sides of the bag are accurate and on time. Promove was fielded cleanly, easy effort. Big follow, someone is getting a good player.

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.50
Exit Velocity: 82 MPH
Arm Velocity: 77 MPH

6/20/17

5-foot-7,153 pound, small, thin athlete, Milone has room to add some bulk. Shows good instincts on the field and reads the ball well off of the bat. Moves well to both sides, average transfers and arm strength arm was clocked at 76 mph, showed very good touch and feel to throws across the diamond. The feeds and starts on double play were smooth with good actions, footwork was good receiving on the second base side. Profiles as an above average defensive second baseman, arm is strong enough to turn double plays from that side of the bag. As a right-handed hitter, stance is wider than shoulder width, hands are loose, he takes a small step, good line drive swing and approach, very short and compact swing. Level bat path, gets through the baseball and drives it to all fields, the tee exit was at 79 mph with a ton more in there. Developing physically by adding muscle and in the cerebral parts with refinement in the approach.

Home - First: 4.56
Exit Velocity: 79 mph
Arm Velocity: 76 mph

3/07/17

5-foot-7, 145-pound, smaller, strong, athletic frame. The wrists are thick and strong, a well proportioned athlete. A right-handed hitter, the approach is simple, basic and balanced throughout. The feet are inline, slightly wider than shoulder width, hands are loose, relaxed and bat starts in a flat position just above the back shoulder. The swing is very short to the baseball, keeps his hands inside the baseball, drives it well to all fields. The lower half is under control, stride is minimal. Defensively, prep steps and approach are proper, works from the ground up, fields out front. The arm works out of a ¾ slot, is short, quick, has whip like action to it, arm was clocked at 75 mph. Showed to have enough carry across the diamond. Moves well to the glove side, gets feet aligned and closes down front side well. The feeds and starts with double play were performed proper, backhand play was made with ease, came through it, kept his feet moving. The actions on the slow roller play were smooth, easy flow. Solid follow, handles the bat, a move to second could happen with the ability to swing the bat.
