Jackson Wein: OF/3B, (2025) Bethel, CT. 160-pound athletic lean build. Above average at the plate, Wein's 90 mph exit velocity ranks him 2nd at the event. (71.0 mph bat speed average). (22.3 mph hand speed average). Starts in an athletic balanced stance with a rhythmic handsy load, then uses a short controlled stride. Has electric bat speed, loose level swing plane and high finish. Through the round he found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Line drive up the middle approach. Raw from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 82 mph; has a quick exchange, raw hands, and developing feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball deep. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a short arm action and a high ¾ slot. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.97.

Jackson Wein: OF/3B, (2025) Bethel, CT. 5-foot-10, 150-pound lean athletic frame. Projectable smooth in the box, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 85 mph. (66.0 mph bat speed average). (20.3 mph hand speed average). Begins in a tall balanced stance with a rhythmic load, then uses a short stride. Has quick bat speed, loose upward swing plane and high finish. He found some barrels with loud contact. Line drive gap to gap approach. Fluid recorded an outfield position velocity of 78 mph; had smooth footwork, a clean natural exchange, and soft hands. Fielded the ball out front to the side with athletic movement laterally. Had a short loose arm action and an-over-the-top slot with consistent accuracy to the base. Recorded a time of 7.35 in the 60-yard dash. 

Exit Velocity: 85 mph

Arm Velocity: 78 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.35

Physical: 5-foot-8, 135 pounds; Wiry, athletic build. 7.55 runner in the 60.

Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet wide spread; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Loads straight back with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a compact swing path with a a finish around the back.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 79 MPH via Trackman. fluid hands with feel for the barrel.

Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while showing active feet. Hands are off to the side with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 74 MPH.
