2017 Future Games

5-foot-10, 150-pound, wiry strong athlete, shoulders are squared off. The hands and defensive actions are his top tool, flashed the leather in game play. The hands and feet work well together, works from the ground up, feet move throughout, gets around the baseball with momentum moving towards target. The arm action is short on the backside, works clean and comes out of a high ¾ slot. The arm was clocked at 72 mph, showed good touch on throws. The footwork from the right side of the of the bag on the double play feeds is crisp. Offensively, hits from the right side, stance is narrow, taller, with the feet even. The lower half is under control, has a small leg kick, gains a good amount of distance with the stride. The hands are loaded up, bat starts in a tilted position. The swing is flat through the zone, short till contact. Looks to spray it to all fields, does a good job keeping hands inside the baseball. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 79 mph, and ran a 7.44 sixty yard dash. Solid defender, should be able to handle bat, with small ball being part of his game.

Sixty-Yard- 7.44

Exit Velocity-82 MPH

Arm Velocity-73 MPH

6/20/17

5-foot-7-150 pound frame, wide shoulders, room to fill out. Middle infielder out of Cheshire whose arm may end up moving him over to second full time. He has a quick transfer and is comfortable fielding on the move, whether that is to his left or his right, the footwork is polished around the bag, the double play feeds are advanced and have good timing to them. At the plate, hits from the right side, the stance is very upright with minimal bend in his knees. Made solid contact during batting practice and in game situation. Feet are shoulder width apart, has a controlled leg kick into the swing, wrists are held above the back shoulder, bat has tilt to it and is loaded up to hit. Boucher, with more power to his swing will develop the ability to drive balls into the gap in the coming high school seasons. Good looking middle infielder who has progressed nicely over the past year. The strength and speed/quickness has improved, look for him to continue to move forward. Will be attending the Future Games this summer.

Home - First: 4.21

Exit Velocity: 80 mph

Arm Velocity: 74 mph

12/4/16
5-foot-7, 150-pounds, thin athletic frame, has plenty of room to fill out and add on mass. Strength has improved since his last workout. One of the better defensive infielders the class of 2019, is smooth with good actions. Shows the ability to get low, feet are very good, are quick and moves well to both sides. Fields the ball out front, transfer is quick, gets glove and ball to throwing position, the arm action is short and clean on the backside, arm works out of a ¾ slot. The arm was clocked at 69 mph, with a ton more in there. A natural second baseman, started the feeds well from the shortstop side. The pro move is good, gets through the ball and backhand was made with ease. At the plate hits from the right side, the hands are set just below shoulder height, the feet are slightly wider shoulder width. The hands are loose with a waggle to them, shows to have good separation to them and gets them back into a good hitting position. The lower half is under control, has a small leg kick for timing, the swing path is level to up, finishes it off with a one handed finish. The barrel stays in the zone a long time, gets through the baseball. The tee exit velocity was 79 mph, has more in the tank as he gets stronger. The sixty yard dash was clocked at 7.44. Strength is a must, solid looking middle infielder, looks to be a hard nosed player, solid follow

7/27/16
5-foot-7, 150-pound, thin athletic frame, actions and movements are smooth, has plenty of room for future development. Defensively, plays up the middle, actions are above average for his age. The hands really work, feet and hands work well together, keeps them moving throughout, catches it and gets rid of it quickly. The arm was clocked at 69 mph, arm action is short, clean and quick, has a ton left in his arm. The feeds from both sides of the bag in starting the double play are advanced. Offensively hits from the right side, the stance is simple and balanced, feet are shoulder width apart and the hands are loose, set just below the back shoulder. For timing has a small leg kick, lower half is under control and gains some ground with stride foot. The front side is strong and hits against it, is in a good position to hit when he makes contact. The swing is level throughout, finishes with one hand. The tee exit velocity was 75 mph, with more in there. In game performance was good collected a single, made solid contact on an out and a bunt for a base hit. Strength is a must, mechanically sound, good looking young player.
