Jeffrey Kraus: RHP/OF, (2024) Cheshire Academy, CT. 6-foot-4, 170-pound long lengthy build. Projectable above average on the mound, showing lightning arm speed he had a long loose arm action with a ¾ arm angle. Stretch only drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 82-85 mph; had arm side command and late action with heavy movement. (Max spin 2150; Avg 2061). His changeup (75-77) shows fading swing and miss action and arm side command. He shows late tight action and down in the zone control on his 2/8 slider (69-71). (Max spin 2274; Avg 2183). Love the projection, potential to throw with upper velocity.

Kraus is a projectable 6-foot-4, 170 pound right handed pitching prospect. He works out of a simple delivery. He gets to a good position at the top. When separating, he begins to drift a bit to the first base side with his head. The arm works out of a long, higher slot and shows some run on the fastball. The breaking ball has a 12/6 shape with tight spin. He also showed the feel for a changeup.

6-foot-2, 155-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. He ran a 7.22 sixty at the event. The approach in the outfield is solid as the feet stay active through the fielding of the baseball. He threw 74 mph from right field to the plate at the event. The bat has an exit velocity of 87 mph. The setup is wide in base and the front foot strides into the swing. The hands work free and clean, producing a long path to contact with the baseball. The development can improve with the strengthening of his body frame and the addition of weight.

6-foot-2, 145-pound, longer lean athletic frame, with plenty of room to fill out with added weight. A left-handed hitting outfielder, threw 82 mph from the OF, clean, easy arm action from a natural slot, downhill with plenty of carry. Showed solid tracking skills and movements in OF. At the plate, balanced, is behind the baseball on contact, level to up path, with some pull side pop, had and exit velocity of 83 mph. The hands and swing work with easy effort. Ran a 7.69 sixty-yard dash, a long strider, look for time to drop, is super athletic. Big follow.

6-foot-2, 145-pound, longer, thin athletic frame, longer neck, squared off shoulders, showing to have plenty of room for added weight. A left-handed hitting two-way player, showed very well on both sides of the field. At the plate, swing is super smooth, starting slightly open, hands are loose and relaxed at the shoulders, with pre-pitch movement, gets them back on foot strike. The swing works with little effort, level to up fluid path. The hands are inside the baseball with an all fields approach. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 75 mph, with more in there as he adds strength. Defensively, threw 79 mph, arm action is long and clean, working from a natural slot. The feet are quick, gains a good amount in transfer. Off the mound, working from the set position, easy lift, clean separation, back is tall, stays of the rubber and back side. Stride is inline, with frontside tracking well to plate, on target on foot strike. The fastball touched 72 mph, with natural arm side run, comes out well, gets on catcher. Both secondary pitches are thrown for strikes and have a chance to be legit out pitches. The breaking ball was clocked at 56-58 mph, showing good spin, needs more fastball hand speed. The changeup was clocked at 60-64 mph, good shape with arm side fade. Will need to add strength and weight, projects out with a high ceiling.
