7/01/20

5-foot-9, 188-pound, strong, durable thick athletic frame, showing good strength throughout.  A left-handed pitcher, pitched two clean innings, pounded the zone with a 3 pitch mix. The delivery is simple, more hybrid out of the windup. The arm action is clean, works with easy effort, coming out of a 3/4 slot. Pitches to both sides of the plate, arm side creating action, clocked at 81 mph. Mixed in a 65 mph, slurvy breaker, which will add velocity, also mixed in a turn me over changeup.  The delivery is sound, with more velocity to come will always throw strikes, will be good one at the next level.

7/24/19

5-foot-8, 180-pound, strong, thick, durable athletic frame. Solid pitchers body, lower having being strong, with the back being wide. A left-handed pitcher, delivery has improved and smoothed out. The delivery is has easy effort to it, repeats, with little wasted movements. The hands start high, work down with side rocker step, work back up with his controlled leg kick, gets to a good gather. The direction is inline, length to stride, with minimal pull of the front glove. The arm action is long and clean on the back side, works out of a 3/4 slot. The fastball touched 76 mph pounding it to glove side with ease. The breaking ball needs more fastball hand speed, shows proper spin and tilt to it. Showed feel for a changeup at 66-68 mph, had turn me over action and fade to it. Progressing nicely, look for him to have a break out year.

8/23/18

5-foot-8, 180-pound, solid, thick athletic frame.  The shoulders are sloped, back is wide, has room for future development. A two- way player, performed well on both sides of the field. The delivery is repeatable, athletic leg raise, good direction with lower half. The arm works out of a natural ¾ slot. The front side glove, has some pull to it, could track a tick longer. The fastball was clocked at 71-72 mph, located down in the zone with action to the arm side. Spun the breaking ball at 55-59 mph, more slurve break to it, showed proper spin, with feel for it. At the plate, swing is short to contact, more of a line drive approach. The lower half is under control, uses the entire body to hit the baseball. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 83 mph, bat head has life and whip out front on contact. The sixty-yard dash was clocked at 7.96, was a slow track. Defensively, arm was clocked at 72 mph, solid touch on all throws. The glove plays at first, gets off the bag, soft hands on the catch and picks. The flow and footwork is advanced for his age. Good bloodlines, good baseball IQ, time will tell which side of the field he ends up at.

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.96
Exit Velocity: 83 MPH
Arm Velocity: 72 MPH
