2/17/19

5-foot-6, 140-pound, smaller, solid athletic frame, a well proportioned athlete, wrists have strength to them. A left-handed hitting catcher, at the plate feet are even at shoulder width. The hands are loose, at the shoulders, bat starts in more of a flat position. Shows to have separation with hands from frame, stride is simple controlled and gains ground. The swing is level through the zone, keeps the barrel in zone, rolls hands late, could finish a tick higher. The approach is more line drive middle of the field. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 62 mph. Defensively, setup behind the plate is athletic and low to the ground. The footwork is performed correct, steps through and gains ground. The arm action is super clean, works out of a ¾ slot, gets through extension, clocked at 61 mph and had a pop time of 2.40. Added strength and conditioning will aid in his development.

Tee Exit Velocity- 62 mph
