Merritt Hole: RHP, (2025) Darien, CT. 6-foot, 170-pound lean athletic build. Projectable raw on the mound, used a long loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing lightning arm speed. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Has a strong balance point with downhill in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 85-86 mph; showed sinking action with heavy movement. (Max spin 2146; Avg 2021). Had slurvey action and glove side control on his 1/7 curveball (69-71). (Max spin 2423; Avg 2218). His changeup (75-77) showed arm side control and fading swing and miss action.  Love the projection.

Merritt Hole: RHP/OF, (2025) Darien, CT. 6-foot, 160-pound lean athletic frame. Projectable in the box, Hole had an exit velocity of 83 mph. (70.7 mph bat speed average). (21.6 mph hand speed average). Starts in an athletic wide stance with a smooth load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed is above average, has a level swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Pull side approach. Above average in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 77 mph; had a twitchy quick exchange, soft hands, and athletic smooth footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a high ¾ slot and a long loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. Raw projectable on the mound, used a long loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. Stretch only up-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. Has a strong balance point and in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 78-81 mph; shows arm side command and sinking action with heavy movement. (Max spin 2073; Avg 2017). He shows late slurvey action and down in the zone control on his 1/7 curveball (67-70). (Max spin 2317; Avg 2237). His changeup (73-74) has fading action and arm side command. Good looking young athlete.
