Nathan Rivera: LHP/OF, (2024) Putnam Science Academy, CT. 6-foot, 180-pound athletic strong build. Raw projectable on the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle and a long loose arm action. Stretch only feel type pitcher and shows easy effort. Showed strong balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 76-80 mph; showed sinking tailing action and arm side command with heavy movement. (Max spin 2052; Avg 1882). Has a 11/5 curveball (69-71) that shows glove side command and hard slurvey action. (Max spin 1996; Avg 1931).

6-foot, 177-pound athletic strong frame. Projectable athletic on the mound, used a short loose arm action and a ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall feel type pitcher who uses easy effort. Tall balance point with downhill in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 78-81 mph; had arm side command and sinking action with heavy movement. (Max spin 1919; Avg 1793). His 11/5 curveball (68-70) showed slurvey action and glove side control. (Max spin 2072; Avg 1612). Had arm side control and fading action on his changeup (72-73).

Nathan Rivera: LHP/OF, (2023) out of East Catholic, CT. is a 6-foot, 165-pound prospect. At the plate, Rivera recorded an exit velocity of 83 MPH, with a (68.96 MPH bat speed average) and (22.89 MPH hand speed average). He begins in a balanced, tall stance with a long load. The swing is a flat stroke with good extension and a gap to gap approach. On the mound, Rivera worked out of a long, high ¾ arm slot. The delivery is simple with even shoulders and a clean finish. The fastball came in at 74-79 MPH (Max spin ; Avg ) with late arm side run. He also mixed in a fading changeup (69-70 MPH) and a tight, sweeping slider (69-71 MPH)(Max spin ; Avg ).

Balance point is tall with in line shoulders during delivery. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 75-79 mph; showed arm side control and sinking action with heavy movement.His 10/4 slider 68-72 mph; had tight action and glove side control. Love the projection on this one, look for a huge jump at some point.
