6-foot-1, 200-pound, strong, solid, durable athletic frame. Already filling out, well proportioned strength. A right-handed hitting two-way catcher/pitcher. At the plate, is balanced, showing plus pop to all fields. The hands are inside the baseball, working it to both gaps. The lower half is under control, with a very minimal stride, hitting against a strong front leg. In game swings were good, had an exit velocity of 91 mph, that he swung with wood. Defensively, the hands and feet work well together in the transfer part, quick gaining ground. The arm action is clean and natural, clocked at 79 mph, showing plenty of carry and strength to it. The pop time was clocked at 1.97-2.10. Pitchers looked to be very comfortable throwing to him. Off the mound, slower, clean delivery, longer arm action on the back. Stepping inline, controls delivery with minimal spin/pull off. The fastball was up to 86 mph, with heavy action. This was after catching 4-5 innings. Mixed in a slurvey breaker at 72 mph. Love him on both sides of the field, can help immediately.
