Patrick Cahill: RHP/2B, (2027) XAVIER HIGH SCHOOL, CT. 5-foot-9, 140-pound athletic proportional frame. Solid in the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 82 mph. (64.2 mph bat speed average). (19.1 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic balanced stance with an active load, then used a short stride. Has quick bat speed, short simple swing plane and a front foot finish. Produced a lot of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Line drive pull side approach. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 66 mph; showed smooth feet, soft hands, and a developing exchange. Laterally, movements were average and fielded the ball out front. From a ¾ slot, showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a loose arm action. Projectable on the mound, showed developing arm speed, he had a longer arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows easy effort. Tall balance point with downhill falling off shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 70-72 mph. shows both sides of the plate command. (Max spin 1930; Avg 1810). Showed fading action and arm side control on his changeup (67-69). Threw a 2/8 slider (65-67) with glove side control. (Max spin 1833; Avg 1597).

Raw in the infield, displayed a velocity of 66 mph; had soft hands, developing footwork, and a lengthy exchange. Movements laterally were average and he fields the ball out front. Used a ¾ slot and a loose arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.94. Projectable on the mound, showing some arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Stretch only type pitcher and uses easy effort. In line shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands square with upright finish. Sat with his fastball at 64-66 mph; has a command down in the zone that shows straight movement. (Max spin 1665; Avg 1571). His changeup (62-64) had fading action and arm side control. Has a 2/8 slider (61-63) that shows glove side command and late action. (Max spin 1416; Avg 1337).
