A right-handed hitting catcher, at the plate, starting open, a wider setup, hands are loaded at shoulder height. For timing uses a small toe tap, gaining ground. The swing is level through the zone, rolling hands late, staying through the baseball. The finish is higher with two-hands, creating lift to the gaps. The exit velocity was clocked at 87 mph and runs and moves well for a catcher, ran a 7.34 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, shows very quick feet behind the plate, hands are soft on the catch, secures the pitch. The setup is even based, is balanced and moves well to both sides. The arm action is short and quick, working from a higher slot, clocked at 71 mph, has room for added arm strength. The pop time was 2.12-2.19, all throws were on or close to the bag.
