Reid Stanton: RHP/1B, (2027) Fairfield Prep, CT. 6-foot-1, 170-pound. (65.1 mph bat speed average). (20.7 mph hand speed average). Started in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Has efficient bat speed, level swing plane and balanced finish. Solid in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 79 mph; shows consistent feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.91. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he used a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Changeup (74-75 mph). Threw his fastball 74-76 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1972; Avg 1833). Showed a 11/5 curveball (66-67) with gradual action. (Max spin 1976; Avg 1910).
