Robby Wunsch: SS/RHP, (2025) South Windsor, CT. 5-foot-9, 160-pound athletic proportional frame. Above average projectable at the plate, Wunsch had an exit velocity of 87 mph. (61.6 mph bat speed average). (20.6 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth compact load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is electric, exhibits a flat short swing plane and high finish. Produced tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Above average advanced while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 81 mph; had next level hands, a quick clean exchange, and athletic smooth footwork. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a loose arm action and a ¾ slot. Solid on the mound, showing quick arm speed he had a long loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Tall balance point with downhill in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 79-81 mph; had arm side control and sinking action with heavy movement. (Max spin 1391; Avg 1262). Throws a 2/8 curveball (61-62) that has slurvey action and glove side command. (Max spin 1243; Avg 1006). His changeup (72-75) has arm side control and fading action. 5-foot-7, 145-pound lean and athletic frame, with plenty of room for added weight gains. At the plate, hits from the right side, stance is slightly open, with a lower crouch. The hands are relaxed, higher back elbow. The swing is super smooth, level to up path, approach is to all fields, has the ability to split the outfielders. The exit velocity is good at 83 mph and ran a 7.55. Defensively, the glove is soft, works from the ground up, coming through the baseball. The arm action is short, quick and whippy, working from a 3/4 slot, clocked at 74 mph, with a ton more in there. Off the mound, working from the set position, delivery is simple and repeatable, arm is quick and works with minimal effort. The fastball was clocked at 78 mph, with arm side action. Mixed in a slurvey/tilting breaking ball, clocked at 68 mph. A young athlete, look for the game to climb in the next year.

Tall-and-fall stretch only type pitcher who uses easy effort. Balance point is tall with in line shoulders during delivery, staying closed. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Threw his fastball 74-76 mph; shows arm side control and sinking action. (Max spin 1940; Avg 1815). Threw his 1/7 curveball (62-67) with glove side control and late slurvey action.(Max spin 2092; Avg 1998). Has arm side command and fading action on his changeup (71-72). the arm action is super loose, look for a jump in velocity.

Began in an athletic crouched stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is electric, shows a loose upward swing plane and high finish. Was able to create tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Projectable in the infield, his best throw was registered at 73 mph; has soft hands, athletic smooth feet, and a twitchy exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a short loose arm action and a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a 60 time of 7.59 at the event. Projectable on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose short arm action while showing quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows easy effort. In his delivery his balance point is tall with falling off shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 74-76 mph; had sinking action and arm side command. (Max spin 1856; Avg 1677). His 1/7 curveball (67-68) shows glove side command and tight late action. (Max spin 1909; Avg 1736). Showed glove side control and fading action on his changeup (71-72).
