8.23.18

6-foot, 165-pound, advanced athletic frame. Shows to have strength throughout, has room to fill out and put added weight on. A right-handed hitting outfielder who can also move around the infield as well. The top tool are his legs and overall athleticism, very advanced. The sixty-yard dash was recorded at 6.91 on a wet and slow track, strides are long and covers a good amount of ground in the outfield. At the plate, hands are super loose and relaxed, front foot starts slightly open. For timing uses a controlled small stride, hits against a firm front side, back half is engaged. The swing is level across the chest, barrel stays in the zone, finishes high with a one-handed finish. The approach is from gap to gap, more line drives, showed to have enough pop to be able to get the baseball deep into the pull alley. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 85 mph, with more in there as he gains strength. The arm was clocked at 85 mph from the outfield, has above average arm strength, baseball comes out of his hand with ease, real good carry and flight to the baseball. The prep steps are under control, footwork is advanced, steps through and gains ground. The arm action has average length, comes through from a high ¾ slot, throws downhill. Big follow, will be good for someone.

7.17.18

5-foot-11, 155-pound, average athletic frame. The upper  torso is longer, back is wide has room for future development. A left-handed hitting infielder and worked off the mound as well. The top tool is his ability to swing the bat, stance is balanced throughout, hands are loose, have pre-pitch movement to them, set slightly below the shoulders. Lower half is under control, uses a controlled toe tap. The swing is level to up, creates backspin to the baseball, keeps the hands inside the baseball, creating the barrel to stay in the zone a long time. The approach is gap to gap, as he adds strength, should develop into a doubles guy. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 76 mph, and was clocked down the line at 4.78. Defensively, arm was clocked at 76 mph from a ¾ slot, transfer was clean, no wasted movement, gets rid of the baseball quick, keeps feet moving well. Double play starts were performed correctly. Off the mound, simple repeatable delivery, direction is inline, slight tempo with hands getting into gather position. The arm works out of a natural ¾ slot, fastball clocked at 74-78 mph, down in bottom part of the zone. The breaking ball is his top pitch, bigger 12/6 beak, thrown for strikes at 68 mph, throwing it early in the contact, pitched backwards at times. Pounded the zone with two pitch mix. Sleeper type prospect, strength is a must.

Home-First: 4.78
