Sean O'Connell: RHP/OF, (2026) Trumbull, CT. 5-foot-10, 175-pound athletic proportional frame. Solid projectable on the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a long arm action with good arm speed. Tall-and-fall stretch only type pitcher and shows easy effort. Showed strong balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic upright finish. Sat with his fastball at 73-75 mph; shows both sides of the plate command with straight movement. (Max spin 2099; Avg 1926). He showed glove side control and slurvey action on his 1/7 curveball (67-68). (Max spin 2199; Avg 2088).
Sean O'Connell: RHP/OF, (2026) Trumbull, CT. 5-foot-10, 175-pound. (61.1 mph bat speed average). (19.1 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is efficient, exhibits a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 75 mph; had quick footwork, soft hands, and a natural exchange. Solid from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 77 mph; showed sure hands, a natural exchange, and consistent feet. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed a consistent arm action with a high ¾ slot. Clocked a 60 time of 8.16 at the event. On the mound, used a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Changeup (68-69 mph). Sat with his fastball at 71-73 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2035; Avg 1970). Shows a 11/5 curveball (65-66) with gradual action. (Max spin 2045; Avg 2006).
