7/17/19

5-foot-11, 135-pound, longer, thin athletic frame, with room for advancement. A left-handed pitcher, starts with more of a hybrid delivery, hands start and stay low. The lift is athletic with coil at the peak, separation is on time, glove side has pull and early tuck, which gets upper body off line at times. The arm action is super clean, whippy, working out of a 3/4 to lower slot. the fastball was clocked at 74-76 mph, with sink to arm side, fastball lived in the bottom part of the zone. The breaking pitch, clocked at 62 mph, more 2/8 break to it, gets on the side, works as a sweeper as well. Showed feel for the change up, looked to turn it over, showing proper fade action to it, clocked at 65-70 mph. Works quick, changes looks and has a feel for some pitch-ability.  Look for the velocity to increase with clean whiipy arm, solid prospect.

10/20/18

5-foot-10, 135-pound left-handed pitcher. The fastball touched 76 mph, minimal arm side run to the pitch. The breaking ball is big in shape, sits at 64-65 mph, needs to be thrown with more fastball hand speed. The slider sat at 68-69 mph, good looking pitch at a young age. The changeup is a developing pitch, sits at 62-65 mph. The delivery is online with his feet, slight bounce in posture as he gets to the top of his lift. The arm works clean, 3/4 in slot. Pounded the zone and showed a repeatable delivery. The glove side has some pull to it, and the tracking of the front shoulder can continue to improve as he matures.

8/23/18

5-foot-9, 128-pound, smaller, thin, athletic frame. The neck is long, shoulders are sloped, with room to fill out and add weight. A left-handed pitcher, arm works from a ¾ to low ¾ slot, longer arm path on the back side. The leg raise is athletic, slight coil to it at its peak, direction is inline and has good length, gets out front on the finish. The lead arm has minimal pull, could stay on target longer. The fastball was clocked at 75 mph with down action to the 2-seamer. Showed the ability to pitch to both sides of the plate with fastball. The change up showed to be an above average pitch, solid feel, good action, proper fade and shape to it, clocked at 63-65 mph. The breaking ball was clocked at 63 mph, more sweeper action to it. Thrown for strikes, needs more fastball hand speed, will help with depth. Showed poise on the mound, held runners and worked quick. Looked to attack and come after the hitter, good feel for pitching for his age. Good follow from the left side.
