3/8/17
6-foot-2, 210-pound, strong, wide, physical athletic frame. A well proportioned athlete, back is wide and lower half is strong. A right-handed pitcher, one of biggest sleepers in the state, is a three pitch pitcher. The delivery is simple, balanced throughout, arm action has average length, clean on the backside. The hands start low and work upward with controlled leg raise. The front side glove stays inline with target, lead leg could get inline more, with striding out farther. The arm action is free and easy comes out of a natural ¾ slot, works down in the zone with fastball to both sides of the plate. The fastball was clocked at 80-81 mph, with more in the arm, should climb at some point. The breaking ball has late, tight break to it, clocked at 70-73 mph, rotation is proper, 11/7 break to it. The changeup works out of the same slot, thrown with good arm speed, sells it well with entire body, clocked at 75-77 mph.  Big time follow, strong pitchability, three sport athlete.

2/25/17
6-foot-2, 210-pound, strong physical, pitcher's frame. The back is wide, well proportioned throughout, movements are loose and athletic. A right-handed pitcher, the delivery is repeatable and compact. The hands start low, work their way up with controlled leg raise. The gather is tight, stays back, separation is on time and in the center of his body. The arm action is clean, has average length to it, ball comes out of a natural ¾ slot. The fastball was clocked 80-82 mph, located to both sides, 2 seamer having real good movement to arm side. The changeup, has the makings of being a legit out pitch, ball comes out of the same slot, with action, clocked at 76-77 mph, tick harder at times. The breaking ball has late break, gets around it at times, clocked at 69-71 mph, more 2/8 break to it. Times to the plate were at 1.4. The fastball is going to take a jump, solid feel for pitching, get out and see him early, high follow.

8/18/16

6-foot-2, 210-pound, large athletic, frame, well proportioned, back and shoulders are wide, projects to fill. A right-handed pitcher who just worked out in the bullpen, due to football starting up, is the quarterback for HS team. The delivery is simple, controlled leg raise and weight stays back. The arm action is short, clean and free and easy on the backside. The fastball was 80 mph, with a lot more left in his arm. Pounded to glove side with ease, gets good extension of release, ball jumps out of his hand with god action to arm side. The breaking ball was clocked at 69-71, late tight break, has some depth, pitch has a chance to be an above average pitch down the road, swing and miss action to it. The change was clocked at 74 mph, showed good arm speed, didn't slow down at all. Interesting RHP, the arm works and looks to be athletic, more to come on this one.
