Trevor Powell: RHP/3B, (2027) The Morgan School, CT. 5-foot-9, 165-pound lean athletic build. Above average projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 81 mph. (64.1 mph bat speed average). (19.0 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic balanced stance with a smooth compact load, then uses a short controlled stride. Bat speed is quick, displays a short simple swing plane and level finish. Found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Aggressive up the middle approach. Above average in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 68 mph; had soft hands, a twitchy exchange, and athletic smooth footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. From a ¾ slot, showed consistent accuracy to the base with a short arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.59. Projectable on the mound, showed good arm speed, he had a short loose arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall feel type pitcher and uses easy effort. He has in line downhill shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Sat with his fastball at 74-75 mph; had arm side control and sinking action.
