6-foot, 178-pound . Athletic at the plate, Burns 95mph exit velocity ranks him 2nd at the event. Started in a wide stance with a high load, then used a long stride. Has electric bat speed,upward swing plane and high finish. Barreled up multiple balls with a lot of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Athletic in the infield, his best throw was registered at 78 mph; had quick footwork, a twitchy exchange, and soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.94. Look for him to hit and hit with power, love the strength and ability to get the barrel to the baseball.
