2021 Scout Day: Run & Gun Baseball - Quick Hits

The Players

  • William Burns, 2023, RHH/1B, showed well around the bag at first, arm strength across the diamond. The bat has life to it, the bat had an exit of 95 mph, power potential.
  • Jake Chacho, 2022, RHH/OF, powerful swing, level to up, power to the gaps, had an exit velocity of 96 mph. Showed athletic actions in the outfield, arm works, would like to see him off the bump at some point.
  • Kaige Garrity, 2022, RHH/OF, ran well, athletic strides, clean arm from outfield. At the plate, line drive to lift, worked baseball from field to field. Much more in the tank.
  • Cody Meier, 2022, RHH/UT, can play all over equally well. Ran a 7.06 sixty. The hands and swing work, level path, hard contact to all parts of the field.
  • Sean Minnick, 2022, RHP/SS, mixed a two-pitch, good slider, fastball in high 70’s.Glove is soft, showed strength with the stick.
  • Dylan Ziegler, 2023, RHP, arm is fast and quick, up to 80 mph, plays harder than that. The breaking ball, is late with good spin and depth to it.
  • Drew Colucci, 2024, LHH/UT, can swing the bat for a 2024.
