Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 6-3, 177-pounds. Long, lean frame with a high-waisted build and plenty of projection remaining. Long levers throughout with the type of body that should continue to add strength over time.
Delivery: Efficient mover on the mound who gets down the slope well. Delivery is controlled and fluid from start to finish, allowing him to stay on line and repeat his mechanics. Works with good pace and body control throughout the operation.
Arm Action: RH. Shorter arm action with a clean path to release. Repeats the motion well and shows present feel for commanding the baseball. Arm works efficiently and complements the overall ease of the delivery.
FB: T84, 82-84 mph. Fastball worked into the mid-80s with arm-side life. Pitch showed natural movement through the zone and played well off his ability to locate. Creates difficult angles due to his frame and extension out front. T2018, 1969 average rpm.
CB: 70-73 mph. Curveball offered a different breaking-ball look with present spin and shape. Showed feel for landing the pitch and changing eye levels. Effective change-of-pace offering within the arsenal. T2224, 2113 average rpm.
SL: Slider showed quality shape with developing feel. Thrown with confidence and served as a distinct secondary offering. Displays the characteristics to continue missing barrels as the pitch matures.
CH: Changeup showed encouraging separation from the fastball and was thrown with conviction. Demonstrated feel for the pitch and the ability to maintain arm speed. Projects as an important part of the mix moving forward.
