The Hurricane closer didn’t have his best outing of the season last night but the stuff is there. He showed a 2 pitch mix of a 92-94 mph fastball and a low-80s slider. With a strong, athletic frame at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds there’s a lot to like with Walters. The FB jumped out of his hand, topping at 95 last night but has been into the upper 90s previously. FB despite throwing it almost exclusively still induces swing and misses. Secondary offering is still a work in progress but showed a SL with some late bite to it. Struggled a bit with command.
