03/30/18- Tennessee recruit. Currently stands at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds with a projectable, athletic frame. Shows range and bounce in his step at short, fields the ball out in front, and makes a strong, accurate throw across the diamond. Drove a key two-run home run over the left-centerfield wall during the championship game in his first at-bat. Quick hands, level path through the zone. More power to come as he continues to fill out his frame.
03/29/18- Tennessee recruit, the shortstop is a very solid defensive player and should stick at short at the next level. Has continued to add muscle to the frame. He was 0-3, but just missed a pair of fastballs. The swing is slightly uphill with present bat speed and likelihood of some power in the future.
10/15/17- Tennessee recruit. Looks to have grown and filled out. He stands tall in the box and trusts his hands. Short, level swing with twitchy athleticism. Tripled into right field during the game. 4.21 and 4.35 home to first. Defensively, there is some stiffness in his actions, but he always seems to be in the right place and making all of the plays.
03/22/17 - The athletic Tennessee recruit looked solid all the way around at short. Making a few raging plays in both directions, showcasing enough arm to stay at the position. Offensively, he had a double in his first at-bat, and showed a level, line-drive approach throughout the game. Knight is a gamer and plays hard, while also having an impressive toolset that will continue to improve with strength.

7/30/16- Committed to the University of Tennessee.
07/22/16- Uncommitted, the high waisted 6-foot-1 170 pound shortstop isn’t overly flashy, but just seems to make all of the plays and have solid competitive at-bats. He has above average range, with an average arm and good hands that should see him staying at short. He was very solid defensively all week on nearly everything hit his way. Offensively, he has a compact level swing with a good approach and some gap-to-gap power. He still has room to fill out and continue to get better. Overall a very solid all around player.
