Austin Nash, Calvary Christian High School (FL), 2027
Positional Profile: RHP/1B
Body: 6-0, 223-pounds. Physical, thicker build with a broad-shouldered, durable pitcher frame.
Delivery: Works with a controlled, deliberate operation that remains efficient through release. Shows the ability to repeat his delivery and attack the strike zone with a composed mound presence. Uses his frame well to create downhill angle and generate natural movement through the zone.
Arm Action: RH. Arm works fast through a longer path, producing consistent strikes and life on the baseball. High three-quarter slot supports both fastball and changeup movement profiles.
FB: T87, 84-86 mph. Fastball sits in the mid-80s with sink and arm-side run. Plays with natural movement through the zone and generates uncomfortable at-bats when located to both sides of the plate. Movement profile is a key feature of the pitch. T2149, 2016 average rpm.
SL: Slider shows distinct shape with firm, shorter action. Thrown with confidence and consistently for strikes, providing a reliable secondary option. Plays well off the fastball plane and gives hitters a different look with tight separation.
CH: 74-76 mph. Changeup mirrors the fastball shape with similar run and depth while offering clear velocity separation. Plays as a high-feel pitch with consistent fade and depth, functioning as a strong complement within the mix. Separation and movement make it an effective third option against both right- and left-handed hitters. T1916, 1792 average rpm.
