3/5/15 - High Point commit. 6-foot-1, 160 pound lefty with a loose lean athletic body. Loose quick arm with a ¾ slot. Good deception. Hides ball in back. Takes ball out in line and lands in line. Ball gets on hitters quick with late life. Fastball was 86-89 mph with some tilt, life and deception. Commanded it well. Changeup was 70-72 mph with occasional sink and run. Early on he slowed down a bit to throw it but as game went on he showed good arm speed with good life. Curveball was a ¾ roller at 71-73 mph. Didn’t use it much. Threw a perfect game with 80% fastballs. Worked quick and attacked hitters. Could become a 2015 draft.
