08/25/18- Uncommitted, athletic, compact body with fast twitch tools. Started the day running a 6.93 60 yard dash time. Continued to show well in the outfield with on line throws topping out at 86 mph. Where he really stood out was with the bat. Smooth, left handed stroke with potential pull side power and showed the ability to gap-to-gap. Great feel for the barrel, also was 82-83 mph on mound with an average breaking ball. 

12/06/17- Fietsam is going to be a solid player at the next level. He moves well in the outfield and shows some present athleticism. Offensively, he uses the lower half extremely well and turns the barely to generate bat speed and some pull power. There is functional athleticism and a feel for the barrel with a quality approach.

07/26/17- The 5-foot-10, 160-pound outfielder has a stocky and strong frame. He continues to improve across the board every time we see him. He has quality rhythm with a simple swing that keeps him consistently on time. Stays in the lower half well, clearing hips with quality load in the upper half. This creates separation and generates above average bat speed through the zone and keeps him in the zone a long time. He has a fee for the barrel and present gap-to-gap power with more to come. Defensively, he is a solid defensive outfielder. There is some quick twitch and ran a 4.19 home to first time on a leaking ground ball to short. Overall the swing works and there is present athleticism with potential.

11/14/15- 5-foot-7, 145 pounds with a compact and athletic frame with strength. From the outfield he showed a short, high 3/4 arm action that produced accurate throws. He showed average arm strength as he threw 77 mph. At the plate he gets a small separation for his load, has a leg kick and a flat swing plane through the zone. He possesses a short, quick swing and consistently hits line drives.

 Loose quick arm at a high ¾ arm slot. Hides ball in back and lands in line. Fastball had late tail action at 75-78 mph. Curveball had tight ¾ rotation at 60-61 mph. Changeup had same late fastball life at 63-64 mph. Good looking young arm. Also showed well in the outfield.

8/5/15 - 5-foot-7, 145 pound outfielder/pitcher with a loose athletic body on a smaller frame. Loose actions in the outfield with good aggressive routes to ball. Fields through ball with a good release. Occasionally will take an extra step. Loose arm with accuracy. Has an open stance at the plate with a loose quick bat. Slasher type swing. Works down through the ball and gets a lot of back spin. Short swing with pull approach. Aggressive with the bat. Body hasn’t even started to develop yet. A lot of upside.

5-foot-7, 145 pound lefty with a very young body on a medium frame. Lean, athletic, projectable. Long loose arm at a high ¾ arm slot. Good rhythm in delivery. Hides ball in back. Lands in line. Fast ball has arm side tail and glove side cut action at 68-70 mph. Curve ball is a big loopy downer at 72-64 mph. Change up is 63-64 mph but slows down a bit to throw it. Will improve with reps. Overall stuff will improve with physical maturity. Right now is a crafty lefty that throws his fast ball and curve for strikes.
