08/06/17- Strong, solid frame with a catcher’s build standing at 5-foot-9, 185 pounds. Slightly open stance with a big leg kick for his load during batting practice with a strong swing that resulted in multiple hard hit line drives into the gaps during batting practice. Squared the ball up numerous times and registered an exit velocity of 85 mph in the cage. Behind the plate he receives the ball well and showed a quicker release with pop times that ranged in the 2.06-2.06 range. His throws to the bag were also accurate and topped out at 75 mph.
