12/12/15- Uncommitted Senior. 6-foot-5 178 pound outfielder with a lean loose athletic very projectable body on a big frame. Loose athletic actions in the outfield with a fluid release. Ran a 6.88 60 and has good range but limited to a corner outfield position at the next level. Arm strength was below average. Stays quiet at the plate and is relaxed. Gets a separation for his load, stays inside the ball well, and has a short, quick swing. Doesn't always get to his front side. He hits consistent line drives and has some lift in his swing that benefits his tall frame and lefty stroke. He also has some good pop to all fields. 91 mph exit bat speed velocity.
9/19/15 - Uncommitted Senior. 6-foot-5, 180 pound OF/RHP with a tall lose lean athletic projectable body on a large frame. Loose athletic actions in the outfield with a long release. Not real quick but under control. Arm had some carry from outfield. At the plate, he had an erect stance with a loose quick bat and late bat speed. Bars out front arm and occasionally inside outs the ball. When he stays inside the ball he gets good back spin and drives the ball with authority to all fields. Occasionally leads with front elbow and drops hands and swings uphill a bit. Shows present power with big future power. Is a long strider with good speed underway. High ceiling athletic kid with a great body. Ran a 6.9 60. 82 mph outfield velocity. 88 mph exit bat speed velocity. On the mound he has a loose arm at a high ¾ arm slot. Takes ball out slightly past his hip. Lands in line with good extension. Fastball has some down tilt at 80-83 mph. Slider is a short tight ¾ breaker at 69-71 mph. The change up has some fade to it but he slows down a bit to throw it at 66-68 mph.
