Positional Profile: SS/3B, Missouri
Body: 6-foot-4, 190-pounds. Has a tall, strong, athletic frame.
Defense: Fields off center of body, showed a 1 and 2 handed gather.
Arm: RH. INF - 86 mph. Has a short, over the top arm slot.
Hit: RHH. Starts with a tall, slightly closed set up. Smooth leg lift, into short stride. Hands load back and down. Swings short/ quick bat path.
Power: 93 mph exit velocity from the tee. All around approach showed some power. Above average bat speed, staying inside the baseball.
Run: 7.09 runner in the 60. Runs with long, high, choppy strides.
Missouri commit. Athletically built was at 6-foot-3, 160-pounds, has continued to grow into frame, adding inches and significant muscle structure with more to come as he matures. Ran a 7.09 laser-timed 60. Defensively, showcased smooth actions, used his long frame well to range to both sides, quick and clean on transfers, quick to release. Arm works short with a low draw, plays at multiple slots, 84 mph across the infield. Offensively, balanced setup, long, hanging leg stride, hands start back and load further, remains balanced. Smooth swing, barrel path is level through the zone, drives the ball gap-to-gap 85 mph exit velocity.
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-3, 160 pounds with a highly projectable, athletic frame. In the field, he shows advanced defensive actions and plenty of range. Shows quick feet and moves laterally with ease, ranging backhand and forehand while fielding the ball under control. Throws to the bag are accurate and have carry, topping out at 80 mph. Offensively, he starts from a slightly open stance with a leg kick for his load, showing present bat speed through the zone and gap-to-gap power potential. At times he can be a little out in front, but when he is in rhythm, he generates hard contact which translated to the cage where he registered an exit velocity of 86 mph. Clocked in at 7.17 seconds for his 60 yard dash time.
Uncommitted. Tall and athletic frame standing at 6-foot-3, 160 pounds. Really stood out defensively in the field where he showed range and athletic, defensive actions. Confident hands. Offensively, there is some swing and miss at times, but he creates leverage with his long limbs and creates hard contact when he squares it up. This translated to the cage where he registered an 83 mph exit velocity off a tee. Had a loud single down the left field line during gameplay.
