5-foot-9, 165-pound athletic build. Solid during batting practice, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 91 mph. Began in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled tight load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is efficient, has a level swing plane and level finish. He found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Pull side up the middle approach. Capable in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 83 mph; showed firm hands, a natural exchange, and athletic quick feet. Fielded the ball one hand with athletic movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a short arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.11. On the mound, showed some arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a short loose arm action. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses easy effort. Showed tall balance point with even shoulders. Lands closed with upright finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 76-80 mph and topped out at 81 mph; had running action and command in the zone. (Max spin 2066; Avg 1952). Had consistent command on his 1/7 curveball (60-63). (Max spin 1953; Avg 1930). His changeup (62-63) shows fading action and low in the zone command.
