8/07/19

At 5-foot-10, 165 pounds, he has present twitchy athleticism behind the plate. Flexible, with loose hips and ankles. Moved well to block, receive and throw. Had pop times in the 2.06-2.36 range. In the infield, he has a quick first step and works with some tempo and athleticism. Offensively, he has a leg kick trigger and really gets into his strong lower half. Has some present bat speed and loose wrists and has some upside as he continues to mature and add strength.

6/23/19

Athletic frame at 5-foot-10, 160 pounds with room for growth. Short arm action with average arm strength and some accuracy on throws to second base with pop times 2.0-2.02. Clean exchange with fluid footwork on throws. Average hands receiving and a little stiff blocking. Balanced setup at the plate with a leg kick. Uses lower half and hits line drives with level to uphill bat path.

08/22/18- 5-foot-10, 165 pound catcher. Defensively, he has solid defensive actions. Quick, clean transfer and footwork is solid that will continue to improve with strength. Pop times range from 2.12-2.29. Offensively, he has a simple and level swing. There is present bat to ball skills, was on the barrel consistently in BP and translated to a single in the game. The tools play and will continue to improve as he matures and adds strength.
