Starting slightly open, he works closed in his load and stays balanced and simple. Creates above average bat speed, an exit velocity of 91 mph, and power potential. There is present strength and clears his backside well. Had an exit velocity of 86 mph and could see continuing to add power in the future.
06/28/17- The stocky, right-handed hitting catcher hits from an upright stance with a medium leg kick trigger. Showed the ability to make adjustment from round to round. The path was steep at times, but when he was level and short through the zone, he drove balls gap-to-gap. Defensively, he showcased pop times ranging from 2.3-2.4.
