5/24/15 - Has been a very consistent performer for the past year for the most part. Typically 90-92 early and settling at 88-90, Juan came out and bumped a few 94’s and 95’s this past weekend. The CV still comes and goes at 73-76 mph but he threw some above avg CHG at 77-78 mph with good arm speed and FB life. He may have helped himself a bit but I don’t think he needed to. He will be a high draft.

2/18/15 - Central Florida commit. 6-foot-1, 175 pound lefty with a lean loose live athletic projectable body and a loose live arm. Fluid delivery with some deception. Hides ball in back. Lands in line. Repeats delivery. Fastball has good tilt and late sink and run at 87-90 mph. Commands the fastball very well for his Age. Curveball had ¾ tilt with depth. Avg to above avg ML pitch at 72-74 mph. Threw a few changeups at 77-78 mph but didn’t need it. Will be a future avg to above avg pitch. Is a strike thrower. Commands the fastball and throws off speed stuff for strikes. Very advanced pitchability for his age. Very efficient with a low pitch count. Should be a good 2015 draft. 5 innings, 9 K's, 0 BB, 2 hits

Athletic live body with fluid delivery. H3/4 slot with 88-92 FB. FB has late life and he commands it well. Loopy CV with very good depth and rotation. Good feel for CHG with late life. Commands the FB and throws avg to above avg secondary stuff for strikes Very consistent performer. Strike thrower. Will be a good 2015 draft.
