9/30/15- Bermudez is a senior who features an athletic, strong, and projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 195-pounds. Behind the plate he shows advanced actions by bouncing around, blocking balls well, receiving pitches softly, and transferring and releasing the ball quickly. He showed a consistent 2.0 pop time with plenty of arm to stay at catcher. Offensively, he has an open and upright stance and gets a small hand trigger for his load. He has a flat swing plane and stays inside the ball well.
