1/27/18- Troy recruit. Physical frame standing at 5-foot-11, 180 pounds with room to add more. Offensively, from the left side of the plate he generates bat speed on a flyball swing path, looking to drive the ball deep to the pull side with authority. Present power. Registered a 91 mph exit velocity in the cage. Defensively, he shows solid actions up the middle of the infield with his throws topping out at 78 mph across the diamond. Clocked in at 7.25 seconds for his 60 yard dash time.
01/13/18- Troy recruit. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 180 pounds with a physical upper body and strong lower half. At the plate from the left side he shows a balanced approach with an uphill path through the zone, creating consistent, hard contact and pull side power. Ball jumps off the bat and looks to drive it with authority. Registered an 88 mph exit velocity in the cage. In the infield, he shows lateral quickness and fields the ball under control and with confidence. Throws across the diamond topped out at 79 mph and were accurate to the bag. Clocked in at 7.05 seconds in the 60 yard dash.
01/08/17- Troy commit. The 5-foot-10, 160 pound left handed hitting middle infielder was impressive. Defensively he showed solid actions with good hands, footwork and arm. He can continue to improve first step quickness, but overall very sound defensive actions. Offensively, the left handed hitter has a natural feel for the barrel from the left side. He is short to the ball, with a level path and quick bat. There is level, line drive gap-to-gap approach that will continue to improve and projects to have above average hit potential with gap-to-gap power.
