07/21/17- Committed to Chipola College.

04/15/17- Dickey came out with electric stuff, but struggled a bit with command. He would strike out the first batter working 90-92 mph touching 93. He has some effort in the delivery, but the arm is extremely quick and the ball jumps out of his hand. An inconsistent front side, and overall getting sped up through the delivery allowed for the Nease hitters to draw back to back walks for the go ahead run. After scoring another run, Jason Sowden, who early in the game I had a 3.69 on a groundout to short from the left side, would steal home for Nease making the score 4-1. Dickey would get out of the inning mixing in an above average to plus curveball at 74-75 mph with hard, late downward action.
01/21/17- The 6-foot-1, 175-pound  RHP/INF with a mature body, broad shoulders, very strong and athletically gifted. Overpowered hitters on the mound with a fastball that sat in the 87-88 mph range and touched 89mph. Arm is quick, ball comes out of the hand well. SL 78-81 hard and very late, CH 77-79. Showed surprising feel for three pitches throwing a lot of strikes in his inning of work. Showed how athletic he is with a 60 yard dash time of 6.88. He shows all around tools tracking the ball down well in the outfield and topping out at 89 mph. Offensively there is a tons of quick twitch as well as strength putting on one of the best two round of batting practice as well as an exit velocity of 95 mph. Dickey shows all the tools to be a high-end two-way player at the next level.
3/14/16 - 6-foot-1, 170 pound infielder with a live athletic body. Very athletic young guy. Decent infield actions with plenty of arm. Good quickness and strength in bat. Has bat speed with a good bat path. Stays inside ball well. Hit a monster home run to dead center field. Also a very good young pitcher.
8/5/15 - Dickey is a 6-foot, 165 pound right hander with an athletic physical body for being so young. Fluid delivery with a loose live very quick arm at a high ¾ slot. He landed slightly across his body but was consistently out front and repeated his delivery. The fast ball was 84-87 mph with good downward tilt. The curve ball had very good ¾ rotation and flashed ML average. Showed good feel for spinning the ball. The change up was 75-77 mph with good arm speed. It occasionally cut when thrown glove side of the plate. Showed good presence on the mound with good rhythm in delivery. Was a strike thrower. Good composure for such a young guy. Was the best all around pitcher in the showcase. Showed good stuff with pitchabilty and a lot of upside. The D-1 college coaches will be calling very soon.
6-foot, 160 pound infielder/pitcher with a lean live athletic projectable body. Very physical for his age. Showed athletic infield actions with solid hands with a solid average ML arm. Release is a bit slow. Winds up to throw. Ball jumps out of his hand. Infield velocity was 82 mph. Erect stance at the plate with a quiet approach. Short soft stride with quickness and strength in the bat already. Shows pull power now. Some length and lift in swing. More power will come. Good balanced finish. Showed very well on the mound. The best overall pitcher at the event.
2/7/15 - 5-foot-11,165 pound right hander with a lean strong projectable body. In his wind-up he steps straight back, his arm is in line with second base when he breaks. Uses his lower half well with good extension out front. Has an over-the-top arm angle that allows for a good downward angle on his 82-85 MPH fastball. He controls both sides of the plate. He has a very advanced 12/6 curveball that has a late, sharp downward break at 72-73 MPH solid avg ML pitch now. He also showed good feel for a changeup in warm-ups that had some deception with good arm speed. Had good fade to it. Didn't throw it in the game. He threw the last two innings against Aucilla Christian and struck out four without giving up a base runner. Very advanced young arm.
