12/06/17- The 2019 catcher has a strong lower half and overall quality catchers frame. Defensively he shows the actions to be an above average defensive catcher. Presents a quality target, strong wrists and shoulders with soft hands. Pop times ranged from 1.9-1.95, but could get a bit more consistent on the bag. Offensively, he uses his strong lower half well. There is some length at times, but he has natural loft and pull side power. Should see continued improvements and more compact swing as he faces higher level pitching.
