01/27/18- Currently stands 6-foot-2, 185 pounds with a tall frame and strong lower half. Offensively, he starts from a slightly open stance with a slide-step for his load. Showed the ability to create hard contact and drive the ball when in rhythm. Should see a jump in power as he continues to utilize his lower half throughout his swing. Registered an exit velocity of 83 mph in the cage. Defensively, he displayed some range and accuracy on his throws across the diamond that topped out at 74 mph. On the mound, he showed pitchability and poise. Fastball mostly sat in the 79-80 mph range while mixing in a 67-68 mph curveball with an 11/5 break that showed depth and shape. Also showed a 71-72 mph change up. More velocity to come as he fills out his frame.
