Brown competed on the bump, strong lower half works in rhythm with upper, confident in his slider that has sharp action, thrown a lot as swing/miss pitch. Fastball had cutting action.

05/28/17 - Brown has an extremely quick arm and looks ready to grow another two inches. Although he could get more extension, he still creates heavy late life on a fastball that ranged from 86-88 mph. He came back from a first pitch home run and attacked hitter to both sides of the plate. Noticeably able to attack inner half with fastball. Showed potential with a 76-77 mph slider with tight spin. Poised and confident with a quick arm, feel for pitching and projects to continue to improve. 

03/11/17 - The uncommitted Sophomore attacked hitters with an explosive 85-88 mph fastball and swing and miss slider at 75-78 mph that gave the Apopka hitters fits all night. Large frame with broad shoulders and a lower slot, the right handed pitcher should be firmly on the recruiting radar going into his junior summer.

01/08/17- The strong 6-foot-1, 205 pound RHP was very impressive with a lot of upside. He shows a clean arm action from a high slot. The fastball ranged from 85-86 mph with heavy, late life. He also showed a feel for the straight changeup at 72-73 mph and a tight slider at 77-78 mph. There is a lot of upside and the arm action works and should make a big jump as he continues to throw and become stronger.
