04/25/18- Alabama State recruit. Gonzalez came in just as dominate, striking out three in the seventh. Working 90-93 mph from a tough, low 3/4 slot, with a sweeping slider at 75-80 mph. He has a big frame and a whippy arm action. There is life on the fastball, command can falter as he falls off of the mound after release and effects the release point at times. The arm works with loose, whippy action and should continue to throw harder.
